Just Us Girls Challenge #86

Auf dem Blog von Just Us Girls gibt es wieder mal eine tolle Challenge. Diesmal ist es ein 3-D Projekt zum Thema Vatertag. Da ich sowieso ein paar Verpackungen machen muss, dachte ich, ich spiele einfach mal mit. :)

There is a new challenge on at the JUGS blog. This time you have to make a 3-D project for Father's Day. Well, I had to make the one or another gift, so I thought I play along.

Und das hier kam dabei heraus. Die eigentlich Box habe ich irgendwo im WWW gefunden, aber ich weiß leider nicht mehr wo. Da es sich bei der Anleitung aber um eine Halloween Verpackung gehandelt hat, habe ich sie einfach für meine Zwecke umgemodelt... ( einen Kragen dran, eine Krawatte dazu und voliá, eine Vatertagsverpackung...)

This is what I came up with. I found the original idea for the box somewhere in the www ( but don't ask me where, I can't remember, sorry). Well, it was a Halloween treat box, so I modified it a bit. I put up a collar and a tie and voliá, you have a Father's Day gift box. 

Und diese Box reiche ich bei der Challenge von Just Us Girls ein.

I enter this box into the challenge at JUGS.

Vatertagsgeschenk/ Father's day gift box and card

Ich war wieder mal akziv. Ich habe endlich eine Verpackung für Vatertag gefunden. Lange habe ich im WWW nach etwas geeignetem gesucht und bin dann auch fündig geworden. Und zwar genau hier:

Auf dem JUGS blog gibt es eine neue Challenge. Eine Verpackung für Vatertag und so konnte ich 2 Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen...
I finally found the perfect gift box for father's day. I wanted to play along with JUGS on the new challenge. Create a 3-D project for father's day. I searched the www and found the perfect wrap, here:

Eine schlichte Verpackung, genau so, wie es für meinen Papa am Besten ist.
A simple wrapping. No such things like blibg and embellis, just like my father loves it.
Und dann musste natürlich auch wieder eine passende Karte her. Das kleine Format ist momentan mein absolutes Favorite. Der Sketch ist wieder einmal von Get Creative. Der passt wirklich zu allem und ist so wunderbar wandelbar...

I like making cards to the gifts, so I made a matching card for the box. I used the Get Creative sketch again. I like that one very much, since you can use it in so many different ways...

Stickrahmen und Abschiedskarte/ embroidery hoop and goodbye card

Ich habe mal wieder etwas zustande gebracht. Diesmal wieder mal ein etwas anderes Layout. Ich habe zum ersten Mal versucht auf Stoff zu scrappen und das Ganze dann in einem Stickrahmen zu verewigen. ( ich muss sagen, dass hat besser funktioniert als ich dachte.) Die Idee mit dem Stickrahmen habe ich vom aktuellen Stampin Up Minikatalog ( für was so Kataloge alles gut sind...) Den Sketch, den ich für das LO auf dem Rahmen verwendet habe, kommt von dem tollen Challenge Blog Get Creative.
I made another LO, but this time I thought outside the box. I scrapped on cloth and put the whole work in an embroidery hoop. I am pretty happy with the outcome. ( I got the idea for that from the SU Mini catalogue ) The sketch I used is from the great challenge blog Get Creative.






Die Blümchen hatte ich schon eine Ewigkeit in meiner Schublade liegen, ich weiß schon gar nicht mehr wo ich die herhabe. Das Band, ist so viel ich weiß Jute und das habe ich mal irgendwo auf der Messe gekauft und nun endlich mal verwendet.
I had the flowers in my stock for ages and finally found a way to use them. The green ribbon? is made of jute. I bought it ages ago...

Das F habe ich wieder mal mit meiner Slice geschnitten. Die habe ich in letzter Zeit irgendwie ein bissele vernachlässigt. Dann kam noch etwas Stickles drauf.
I cut the F with my slice. ( I finally used it again.) To put some glitter on, I used some stickles.


Aber ich habe nicht nur den Rahmen geschafft, sondern auch noch eine Abschiedskarte. ( Irgendwie gehen grade alle meine Kollegen...) Die Idee der Karte habe ich von einer Geburtstagskarte und den Sketch habe ich wieder mal von Get Creative.
But I didn't just made a LO. No, I also had time to make another Goodbye card ( I have the funny feeling that I don't make other cards than goodbye ones.) One of my co workers is leaving... The idea for that card is from a birthday card I got this year and the sketch is from Get Creative, again.

Abschiedsgeschenk/ Goodbye gift

Bei Get Creative gibt es wieder ganz tolle Challenges und Ideen. Das 3 -D Projekt hat mir wieder mal super gut gefallen und das musste ich natürlich auch gleich mal ausprobieren. Eine meiner Kolleginen verlässt unsere Station und da wollte ich ihr ein kleines Dankeschön als Aufmerksamkeit machen.

On the Get Creative blog you find loads of great challenges and tutorials. This month 3-D Project was to create a box. I liked the box and actaully needed a little gift for one of my co workers, so I decided to try one myself...

Verwendet habe ich lauter Papiere von Stampin Up. Die sind aus dem letzten Jahr, und irgendwie hatte ich nie wirklich Verwendung dafür. Die Blümchen sind von Prima, haben aber farblich super dazu gepasst.
I used SU papers and Prima flowers to create the gift bag.

Die Schmetterlinge habe ich mit der Big Shot ( nein, ich habe noch keine eigene) auf dem letzten Workshop ausgestanzt. Die Idee der Karte kommt von einer Geburtstagskarte, welche ich bekommen habe.

The butterflies are alle punched with the Big Shot ( no, I still don't have one myself). I used it o the last workshop... The card idea is from a card I got for my birthday.

So, nun werde ich mal wieder an meinen Schreibtisch zurück gehen und versuchen meine anderen Werke zu vollenenden.
Ok, now it is back to my workspace. I hope to be able to create some more things to show you...

Geburtstagsgeschenke/ birthday gifts

So, nun möchte ich euch aber auch noch ein paar meiner Geschenke zeigen, die es zum Geburtstag gab.

Today I want to show you some of the gifts I got for my birthday.

Diesen tollen Rosenstrauß habe ich von meinem Freund bekommen. Einfach nur himmlisch.

Diese mega genialen Schachteln sind von der lieben Martina. Die wollte ich gar nicht aufmachen, so toll sind die...

Die nette Box ist von Kerstin, meiner lieben SU Demo.

Und hier ist der absolut geniale Inhalt.

Und in diesem kleinen Strauß verstecken sich lauter tolle Sachen: Stickles, Stempelfarbe und Ribbon. Einfach eine super geniale Idee.

These is not only a bouquet of roses, no. You can find stickle, ribbon and ink there, too.

So, das war es nun auch schon wieder. Jetzt heißt es weiter Koffer packen, sonst fährt der Bus morgen ohne mich ab. :)

Geburtstagskarte/ Birthday card

Auf dem Blog von Get Creative gibt es diesen Monat wieder super tolle Challenges. Eine davon ist eine Geburtstagskarte zu kreieren, die nicht für ein Kind ist. Nun, ich habe mich für eine EASEL Card entschieden und die Karteging an meine Freundin, die letzte Woche 27 geworden ist. :)

There a some great challenges going on at the Get Creative blog. One is to make a birthday card. Well, I have a few birthdays this month, so this was not a big problem. I decided to make an easel card for my friend.

Happy Birthday...

... to me. So, nun ist es also so weit. Ich bin 30!!! ( Grausamer Gedanke für mich!!!) Naja, aber nichts desto trotz musste ich heute morgen gleich mal in den Garten und mich mit dem Apfelbaum knipsen. ( somit habe ich dann auch meine Selbstportrait Challenge geschafft) Und da das Bild wirklich gut geworden ist ( ich weiß, Eigenlob stinkt) musste das auch gleich verscrapt werden.
... to me. Well, now it hppened what I feared most. I am 30!! But to be honest, it doesn't feel as bad as I thought it would and nothing happened this morning... Well, first thing I did today was rushing into the garden to take a picture with the blooming apple tree. ( that is for my self portrait challenge) And the picture didn' t turn out that bad, so I just had to scrap it...
