Das schöne Wetter am Sonntag haben wir ausgenutzt und einen Ausflug ins angrenzende Frankreich gemacht. Wollte ich doch schon lange mal Colmar besuchen... Nun, das kann ich nun auch abhaken.

We had wonderful weather on sunday, so we decided to make a daytrip to Colmar. I visited Colmar with my parents many years ago and wanted to see that wonderful town again. And the good thing, this part of France is not that far away from our place...

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Städtchen mit einer traumhaft schönen Altstadt, bei der man an jeder Ecke etwas Neues entdecken kann.

Colmar is really nice. It has those typical old houses you find all over the Alsace area...

Und wär hätte gedacht, das wir im Oktober noch einmal so ein Traum Wetterchen bekommen?

And we never dreamed of having such nice weather in October. The temperature went up to about 80 degrees....

Eine Stadt im Elsass ohne Störche geht nicht. Der Storch gehört dazu. genauso wie der Guggelhupf...
